There were some doubts as to whether the pond project would get underway as the West Midlands woke up to freezing temperatures and a blanket of snow on Monday 1^st February. However, the icy conditions and widespread disruption to transport did not stop the Hagley Year 7 Eco Warriors embarking on their first major project, the construction of a purpose built raised pond. Worcestershire pond expert Bob Green spent the day working with eleven pupils, constructing a robust frame for the pond made from railway sleepers. Work will continue all day Tuesday 2^nd February.

The January Public Examination Season is upon us and this is an appropriate opportunity to confirm our planned arrangements.

All examinations will go ahead as published on your individual examination timetable regardless the status of school opening.

If for any reason the school is closed and therefore school transport is not available we will have to ask candidates to take responsibility for getting to school for the published examination times.

15 Year 12 students worked in two shifts on Saturday 5^th December to take part in a community bag pack at the Franche store of the Co-Op. The Kidderminster shoppers were very impressed by the Hagley pilgrims and gave generously, donating over £400 in six hours.  Hagley Catholic High School is once again indebted to Sarah Smith, of the Midcounties Co-Operative, for organising the bag pack for the Hagley Lourdes group for the third consecutive year.
